My name is Arjun Gohil, and I am the founder of Arjun Customs, a business specializing in custom sneakers, original artwork, and high-quality art prints.

Arjun Customs began in 2020 when I was just 12 years old. Like many people during the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself with a lot of free time and a desire to create something unique. After seeing artists online transform everyday objects into works of art, I became inspired to try it myself. I convinced my parents to take me to the store, where I purchased a pair of plain white canvas shoes and immediately got to work.

Using only Sharpies and whatever materials I had available, I covered the shoes with detailed drawings and designs. The finished product was far from perfect, but it sparked something much bigger than I expected. After sharing photos with friends and family, I received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. Soon after, my younger cousin asked me to create a custom pair for her. For $10, I designed shoes covered in princesses, rainbows, and butterflies—my first official commission.

What started as a fun project quickly grew into a small business. As demand increased, I began refining my process, investing in professional materials, and developing a stronger brand identity. Originally known as “Street Shoe Artist,” the business eventually evolved into Arjun Customs, reflecting a higher standard of quality and creativity.

Over time, I expanded beyond custom footwear by launching a website, building a presence on Instagram (@arjun_customs), and offering original artwork and prints in my signature comic-inspired style. Today, Arjun Customs represents years of growth, creativity, and dedication.

Since that first pair of shoes, I have spent countless hours developing my craft and serving customers who share my passion for unique, personalized art. What began as a pandemic hobby has grown into something much larger, and I am excited to continue expanding Arjun Customs for years to come.
